I can't see it very well but to me it either looks like a buff or splash. I'm sure there are others that can see it better than I can. :)

Do you have any problems with them eating the litter? I also have some Silkies I hatched and plan on showing this fall.

Ione of my friends on FB was just talking about this, only with Chihuahuas. She said someone posted a picture of her Chihuahua on EBay. This is not right! Hope they get them stopped.

During the day, if it's nice, they are on the grass. So they do, at least, get a break from the wire. I think it bothers me more than them. Lol. Thank you for responding.

I messed that quote and reply up. Thank you so much Painted Feathers. I will try those. Both would be easy to scoop also.

I need some good advice. I have some really nice Silkies coming on that are show hopefuls. I was wondering how you that show keep their feet clean without keeping them on wire all the time? It makes me feel bad for them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have a question about my show prospects. At what age do you start bathing them? Mine are young and I'm not even sure they will turn out show quality but I want to get them trained just in case.

If nothing happened to yours then I'm sure mine would be fine! We will have another one in the spring. I'll enter mine in that one. Thank you. I feel better now. Again congrats on your wins! :)

Congratulations on your wins! Which show are you at? We had one here where I live and we were to take our entrees in on Wed and leave them until Sun. I didn't enter mine because of that reason and because I have been sick. I was worried about leaving my chickens there so long.

I'm having the same problem. Someone told me to add a small amount of bleach to the bath water but I would be afraid to use it around the eyes. I bought some whitening shampoo but haven't tried it yet. If it doesn't work I will use it on my dogs.

Ok I need some input. I put 5 Silky eggs in my incubator. 2 of them hatched. 1 baby has absolutely no top knot while the other has a gorgeous top knot. The eggs came from really nice white parents. I wasn't really sure they were fertile since I had just gotten this trio. Also the one baby has...
