Yea, and they are from a breeder around here, wonder if the feed store got them mixed up? Maybe I will end up getting some pure! I sure hope so, I so want to start breeding pure breeds instead of mixes.

I was thinking by the pics that I saw online that some were not. Most of them do have feathers on their feet but not all.

All of these are suppose to be blue and black copper marans, I don't know how old they are, forgot to ask when I got them from the feed store. What do ya'll think? I am going to put them outside as soon as I can so that they will have more room.

Thanks! I am so excited to get started with them. I think they are so pretty. It's probably the same guy that supplies the feed store where I bought mine, and where I bought my eggs. He is really nice and invited us to come out and look around when hubby could go.

I am new to the blue copper marans. Just bought 7blue and black copper maran chicks Sat. and boutght 18 hatchings eggs yesterday, which I am going to set today! So excited for my new birds. And can't wait for the chicks to come out and wave LOL!
