DJ and PJ are both laying! Got a new green egg in their coop this afternoon. The bigger one is the new one. It amazes me how different 2 different hens' eggs can be even if they both have the same parents.
Momma's egg is the top one, middle is the new one from today, and the bottom is one of...
Had my first baby egg. I think it was from one of my ee white silkie crosses that were hatched 3/31 and 4/1. However, my brother got a new egg today and he has one of my ee buff silkie crosses that hatched 4/24 so it could have been one of them. I still have 2 of those mixes from that hatch...

Pics @Shahann ???
Here are my two roos from the April hatch.
Mr. E (EE silkie mix)
Mr. Obvious (Japanese bantam silkie mix) Named so because he was an obvious male from about 2-3 weeks old.
Took the babies outside today while I cleaned their brooder. They are getting so big! Put them all in the same box I had them in when I took pics and they almost don't fit anymore.
@Sustained Where do you sell? Locally, online, through friends??? I had such a good time I'd love to hatch for people that don't have incubators or broody hens.
I missed all the action. Had 7 hatch during the night and 4 while I was at work. Think the next time i do this i'll definitely plan hatch week for when school is out so i can be home and stay up late!
Here are the last babies to hatch. First 2 pics are the ones who hatched today while I was at work. The other 5 hatched over night and were ready this morning.
