very nice. wish i was that far along, but we had a raccoon problem in july that set me back a couple months... so now my only 3 self blue chicks, 1 is about 6 weeks, the other 2 about 3 weeks. 2 cockerels and a pullet. we'll see how they develop.

so far this summer my self blue split pen has produced: 5 black, 6 self blue. I thought I had 7 self blue, but 1 was a doppelganger.

I have a trio of nice black splits that have just started laying but are in a mixed flock at the moment until I finish another pen... not enough hours in a day. I'm looking to add some more, even possibly a self blue...
