I understand! I managed to get a collar on rascal the day we brought him home but haven’t been able to do much with him yet beyond that. We had to make some changes in the pasture yesterday though…..sometime before we got home, he managed to get his horns and foot tangled in the netting I had...

We’ve been having similar issues trying to figure out who can be with whom and where. I second the idea of getting a wether as a friend for Peter (or a llama 😂 ). I’m new to goats (so definitely not an expert by far) but have you done a “look but no touch” introduction like with birds? Bean is my smallest animal and she is in the pasture with her 2 half-brothers, 2 Juliana pigs, 2 mini zebu, and a llama. A portable electric poultry netting is a good...

So little Bean is so spoiled! 🙈 she has figured out that she can get out between the gate and hinge post to get early access to the feed bucket and she expects to be held and burped after eating! 🙈

In line breeding, father/daughter and mother/son breeding is acceptable.... it's sibling breeding that leads to issues from what minute experience and research I have looked at 🙈
