Im a bit sad this morning....actually scratch that, very sad. I did my usual check the brooder last night....and Pocket was not in there. No where....not under her toys, she was not in sight. We turned the place upside down to find her, she was no where. Shes gone. Its the worst case...

A bit worried.. Its been almost 3 days since Pocket has hatched, i have offered her hard boiled yolk (Finley scrambled) and crushed cheerios. Not interested in them..she has an empty crop and is making some yawning motions on several occasions

I never knew that! Alot of my hatches get high temps...maybe thats why im getting all boys...expect this hatch they were exposed to quite alot of cold...50/50 is good, hopefully i get that next time..i have a better incubator on the way.. Thanks,i hope i get better hatch rates with the new...

Lockdown commenced a day early because the Quail eggs have lockdown today....so i dont think it will hurt the chicken eggs...
