thanks for the update i am setting some on the 28th for the moon again...the last batch hatched 39 and they are growing and going ..........i also set some the 24th to see if i can tell any difference.....happy hatching everyone..

no it is so they hatch on the right phase of the moon...read the 1st post in this thread..she has explained it pretty good...check it out this is my 1st hatch so i dont know but it sounds reasonable to me...we castarate calves by the signs in the almanac...

i have 27 of 50 hatched about 1/2 of the other eggs are piped ..... good luck with the duck ...

well my hatching by the moon chicks are chirping and starting to pip...my first hatch 50 of 58 made it to lockdown...

i am putting my first eggs in the incubator today...hope this hatching by the moon works well ....i have been tweaking the temp and humidity for 3 days and it seems to be right where i think it should ...99.5 temp ...42% humidity..holding very steady..
