I would not either, but if you home freeze and they crack, or freeze in the coop and don't crack, I would eat it. Like I said, they were a little watery, but apart from that they were fine. It's a good way to store eggs for baking etc. I suspect our freezer was too cold for the eggs, that's why...

I put 4 in the freezer this morning. 2 of yesterday's fresh laid and 2 older ones that's been sitting in the kitchen for awhile (longer than a week). I'm going to take them out to thaw before I go to bed tonight and cook them tomorrow morning. I'll let you know the results.

Sorry I gave you such a short and sour answer! Temperatures below 30* can kill the embryo, which is just a tiny little possibility in fertile eggs, waiting for the right temperature to start developing. I've heard of people hatching eggs from the fridge, with mixed results, but not from frozen.
I read tip for boiling eggs the other day that I haven't tried yet, but I'm going to: before you boil the eggs, especially older ones with large air sacks, make a small hole in the shell on the fat end of the eggs. When the egg cooks the contents expand, so you should have a perfectly shaped egg...
