For those with extra roosters, just found this ad on craigslist... http://cosprings.craigslist.org/grd/4538191159.html on the bottom it says they re-home unwanted roosters. Doesn't say they won't eat them, but it's an option for those with 1 or 2 roosters they don't want to process themselves.

Count me in! We started thinking we'd have 4 because that's what our city allowed at that time (and we had neighbors that reported our dogs all the time for no reason, so we knew we'd probably get reported for the chickens). We moved to a new city that allows 6 and we have much better neighbors...

No, no fee. Just get there at the start and set yourself up. It's a very small parking lot (8 spots maybe?) that the sellers set up in so it gets pretty crowded. We are there nearly every month starting in May but I haven't seen any hatching eggs there. It's a great place to meet to conduct business though! We will be there this month with some chicks to sell.
