turkeywith crooket feet.

thanks very much to everyone for the info and advice.
very much appreciated, think I know what i'm going to do now. just a waiting game for the next batch of poults to hatch. fingers crossed.
I don't know if i should start a separate thread for this but I wonder if anyone could tell me, why are some of my Bronze turkeys a silver/steal coloured, is this a normal variation or is it more likely that a non bronze turkey has sneaked in some where?

It looks like it could be a Narragansett hen which could mean that the bronze turkeys you are getting are coming from a source that is not pure bronze.

i did originally think it could be a girl/boy thing I've seen in some breeds of chickens, but there are a couple of girls and at least 1 boy this colour. i did also wonder if it was maybe it was maybe a "white" turkey gotten in the middle. these were just sold as "bronze" local lass home turkeys. the next lot are being sold as Norfolk black/bronze so guessing they may be a lot darker. some of my turkeys are very dark, with a copper/bronze hew through the feathers.
