New Adult Male Impeyan I bought today. Best $100 I've spent in a while.

Not yet. Calling Steve List who lives like 30 minutes from me tonight to talk about a breeder hen. My first time with full grown impeyans and still have lots of questions.

When I build new pens what size is perfect for them. Not looking to over due it just because pens can become costly quick. Also I do want to trade young for other blood line to have two unrelated pairs. I was thinking 8x16 per pair? I like your Idea Tony because I can build two sets of 5 for large breeds and small breeds.

Yes mine are in a 8x16,they were in a 6x12 and did just as good.

These are the new 8x16.They are egg eaters so grab their egg as soon as you can if they start eating them.

What is your pen made out of? I like landscape timbers so I'll probably build mine out of that. I also want to keep T.Tragapans and Cabot Tragapans. So would this size be ok for them? I'll probably keep 2 pairs of impeyans and temmicks to produce unrelated birds and one pair of Cabots since they are all related anyways. Also looking for more people to possibly swap good young for other good young.

I have 2x10 x16 pt for the base and 2x4 for everything else.I only use hardware cloth for wire as it keeps everything out, except those stinkin chipmunks they tunnel under. My temm and satyrs are in the same 8x16 pens. There are lots of people in Mi that raise pheasants,so I'm sure you will be able to find plenty of birds.
