What the 'foot' is wrong?

Hi.
I have a breeding pair of welsh harlequins, 2015 hatch and bought at auction.
Id brought them home as i had entered them into a local show, which is this sunday.
Upon bathing them and cleaning their feet i have noticed these cracked split calluses on the underside of their feet.
Can anyone tell me what it is?
Their diet consists of a corn/wheat mix, their habbitat is 20ft enclosure where they have access to 2 pools for bathing and drinking. The bottom of the enclosure is soft woodchip, not cedar. Can anyone tell me if any of the above could be the cause?
Does anyone know if i will be able to show these ducks in thisbcondition?
And is this treatable? If so how?

I will just add that neither duck is limping or in visable discomfort.
Also, we bought them from auction 2 months ago and so do not know how they were looked after before we aquired them.
 
I'm no expert, but the first things I would do is wrap affected areas in Epsom salt soaked cloths 2-3 times a day for 15-20 or longer if possible and supplement their water w niacin and food w Brewers yeast. I'm new to ducks this year, but I've had 2 ducks w leg or foot problems and this treatment worked on both. Keep us posted
 
I don't know about showing, I've never looked into showing ducks before. It's not a bad idea to start epsom salt soaks or compresses. They just look like normal duck feet to me. It is possible the previous owners had them on a rough surface, they just look calloused to me. I am a little concerned about their current diet - just wheat and corn isn't nutritious enough for them long term. I consider wheat and corn a treat or a supplement, not a complete diet. Do you have access to duck or chicken feed? Do you supplement with fresh greens? They need more protein and calcium in their diet, and even more so if they are close to the age of laying.

THeir current flooring sounds good to me. I adopted two adult ducks with foot problems related to a hard living area. 5 months later, their feet are a little better, but it is a slow recovery.
 
Agree w jducour A few suggestions are Gamebird Maintenance, Flock Raiser or Mazuri waterfowl. Mazuri is more expensive, but many say it's the best. I think all 3 are made by Purina
 
Had a chat with my hubby as he buys the feed, and i was indeed a little incorrect with their diet. They do get fed corn amd wheat mixture but thats not everyday
They are on layer pellets and growers with wormer. They're a uk brand of pellet. They enjoy the odd lettuce.
I have shown the pictures to a local breeder and they have said that my drake is not in show condition. But my hen is. Theu have said that it is normal for ducks to have calluses on their feet and that unless they are swollen or bleeding then i have nothing to worry about. I have been advised to keep them off hard ground and to keep their bedding fresh. It is perhaps a problem caused from their previous owner, the possibility of hard standing.
