Please help! Hatching chicks and worried...

Step away from the incubator, I repeat STEP AWAY FROM the INCUBATOR.

Don't you need to go grocery shopping or to a movie?

Haha, your so right.... but you know that's impossible, but good news.... 1 hatched!!!! The 1st one with the crack, so glad I didn't try to intervene. Now my nerves are calm and I can calmly wait for the others to hatch without worrying to death! Thanks!!!

Had 5 hatch last night and I'm up to 7 now. I'm still a little worried about some of them because they were some of the original pips if you could call them that and they still haven't hatched (or even started zipping). But I'm just gonna sit tight. I have 43 eggs in the incubator total, so we will see what today brings. I'm thankful for the 7 I have so far!

They pipped yesterday around 6, so I'm not going to worry too much just yet. My humidity is 76 right now but it was close to 80 this morning. And I haven't seen any movement out of them.

Well darn, another 1st for me. One of my chicks just hatched and there is some slimy looking stuff still connecting the chick to the shell. The slimy looking stuff looks like yolk. I'm not sure but this chick will probably die right? Since it didn't absorb all the yolk before hatching? Has anyone seen this happen before? I have not helped any of the eggs out or opened the incubator at all since lockdown (and that was tough! )
