The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning all :frow

No rain here, just dust likely until late. Even then it's likely to sprinkle enough to make a mess on the windshield and that's it.There's humidity though and now that the wind has blown the clouds away it's getting nasty out there.

Off to work, have a great day everyone!

home now, and got my chickens fed, was a long day but well worth it, i sold four chickens, two roosters and two hens, made about 28-30 dollars, not quite sure yet but the main thing is i cut down on the feed a bit and since i have a bunch of young ones coming that helps alot:wee
Congrats on the sale! I sold 4 chickens in the last 2 days, and today I have a lady that says she wants 2 bunnies at the next swap. Yay!

Howdy Sharron, hope you doing fine today?
yes sir, altho its been a long day it was a good one but since i've been up since 4 am, going to be a early night.
believe it or not, i had to turn the air cond off, got use to the 90*+ weather and now its only 68* and i'm cold but so is husband, we've been together so long that we're turning into each other:lau:lau:lau

OMG! That’s like a bale or close of the regular square ones right?

And awww how nice of her haha
Depends on how they bale it ..... Three strand Bales are Three feet by almost two feet by about eighteen inches here.... packed hard... So for Bermuda the bales run between 125 and 135 pounds depending on when they were cut.

Alfalfa same sized bale is a bit heavier 130 to 140 again depending on when they were cut....

HEre all hay comes from the IMperial County which is low desert and about thirty miles from my house in the desert. they get between ten and twelve cuttings a year because they irrigate year round. There is hardly a year when the rain causes damage.
