I could tell. Funny she was a ring leader though being the smallest one of the four. It probably is hardest because there is nothing left to know for certain. I have some really cute sisters of hers, so I am sure she will enjoy one of those as much. It is very sad though.
Sad news. My big beautiful orange rooster. My NH. Roger. Found dead this morning below the roost. I think the cough and sneeze was that chronic air sac disease. He was a gorgeous boy that took such fine care of his girls. I will miss him greatly. Oh my Big tootsie.... 😢

Oh Bummer BC!
SO sorry to hear about Roger......
Sorry to read about the rooster BC. We all have our favorites and hate to lose them.
Ralphie, it has finally happened. I have two hens which have gone broody. One is a PC and the other a Chantecler X.
Intermittent thunderstorms with strong wind, rain and hail. Not a good day for a pigeon race.
Thank you all for the condolensces on Roger. His hens are all over the place today. Nobody comes running out of the woods when I call them. I did find that a fork on a plate scraping did bring them chugging along though. I guess this old hen is even lost without her boyfriend. Mr. Triangle. Big Tootsie. Roger. Rest well on greener pastures my boy. 4 years of great stories from this bird. There was always a Roger story...everyday.
