Well you may remember I had a coon turn on my outdoor water . I believe I got the culprit today .

You wanna see cruel, plug the egg laying tube and see how the chicken reacts... tell them to come and watch the exploding hen..

Omg!!!

Morning all!

I am not happy. 33 degrees, I don't think it froze here in the Banana Belt! If we get close to 70 today buds will appear and I will be done with my syruping...... I do not have enough yet.

If I am done it will be a long year having to listen, to "someone" harp everytime we have syrup about how much time and money I spend making that quart of syrup!

We had lenton services at church last night. I went to the town board meeting right after church and that "someone special" came home to put the chickens away...

We have that handful of chickens that do not like the steel shed as their coop. The ones that moved back into their old coop. She told me to lock them out and force them to go to the coop "we" want them in...

She said we will just help them move to that coop..........She walked behind them to the coop "we" want them in. Which is coincidentally as far from her deck as we can get them on the farm.

When I got home the coop closest to the deck had the door open. All the chickens were pleasantly and happily roosting in the rafters. I went inside and all I said was "Chickens 1--- Judy 0".....

You would have thought I said something bad!! I got an earful about "my" chickens. She walked behind them towards the shed and got almost there and they made a break for it and ran back to the coop by the deck. They then stood outside that coop and waited for her to open the door to the coop......

This happened 3 times....wanna know how I know that when I wasn't here?????? She was very insistent on my learning how many times this happened......

I am not as dumb as many of you think....I did not tell her I was in error about the score and correct it to "Chickens 3--Judy 0" in front of her anyways...

Another singular chick hatched it is very very dark, not to happy about that, not sure where it got it from

I hate having my eyes dilated.. On a better note I passed my final science test!
