Hey on the Fair Registration, it says you can do Poultry Showmanship, I know you show it, then there is an entry for Laying Hens, and pellets. Do they examine the Laying hen or pullet in the cage or do you show it?

Are you wanting to know the difference between the pullet/hen category amd showmanship? Or are you wanting to know what showmanship is

I know what showmanship is, I was wondering, like do you show if you are doing pullet/hens, or do they examine from the cages? They being the judges

I was also wondering, if you do the Market Poultry project, do you auction your Poultry after the fair like goats and stuff? How is it different from the Breeding Project?(I'm doing breeding right now)

400

Right now I have my 2 month pullets in a run with roof, cuz my rooster in the coop doesn't like them. We're gonna sell the rooster.

For showmanship you are handling the bird outside the cage, and it depends on the area of the birds are examined separately in their cage or at a table.

Usually in market you have to butcher or sell afterwards rather then keeping them for breeding. Each state and county is different though

Thanks guys, when I turn 18, I'm gonna buy like 500 babies, let me grow, then sell a bunch while collecting eggs, and selling those. I think it will make pretty good money
