Those are all amazing! I created a little paludarium in a ten gal, kept some mosquito fish and tadpoles. It was dumped into the yard(not my idea), and now I use it for bettas. When I get older I should have things like the ones you all pictured above, but for now I'll stick to water gardens. My bettas will surely enjoy it! Maybe I'll have mini plants as well^-^
I was wondering if pom poms could be used as substrate for certain plants? They would make a nice colorful setup for see-through or well-ventilated pots.
Also, is there any way to color succulent plants without hurting them? Will food coloring water change it, or is it harmful to the plant? I know many people are against coloring plants, and I don't want to start a debate, I'm just curious. I rescued a purple plant just to find out that it was coated with paint, and I will peel it off so the plant can breathe.
Out here at Walmart etc. they have cactus with paper flowers glued on them. Several times I have shown that to would be buyers. I used to have a large cactus collection and it makes me mad to see stores trick people into buying them. No. 1 the flowers are fake and no.2 cactus flowers don't look anything like that. Plus many species of cactus have to be quite old before they bloom.
