Lol that's too hard, @donrae ; they figured nobody would notice the feet if the bird was purple wink.png

I think it's kinda cool, like an Andy Warhol painting ha-ha big_smile.png

They're still beautifully feathered birds, but yeah, not quite so photoshopped tongue.png

where are you in Iowa, I am looking for some too but can't really find any around here.

i was planning on ordering them from murray mcmurray next year. They are st. run only so you cant pick male or female. i get them as chicks, and if you want to pick them up you can get orders as small as 10. ( thats what i do)

see thats my problem I can't have 10 so I was looking for maybe a breeder and I already checked M McM but thanks

They have them on my pet chicken, but I'm not sure about that site, I've never ordered from them so no idea how true the breeds are. They have a smaller minimum order requirement too, so you don't have to get as many in one order...

Murray McMurray is a hatchery not a breeder.

Check with Myers hatchery, if there out they put you on a waiting list. (they will see 3 chicks at a time)

I have one, and she is stunning. Not the crazy brightness of the original picture, but still really pretty. She came from Meyer's Hatchery in Ohio. Minimums are only 3 chicks, if you order them to be delivered after March I think. And the 3 can be an assortment of breeds, not just 3 of one kind. And you can order just pullets. I think she was $5.00.
