Can anyone help me find silkie pullets in. North central Florida/Gainesville area? I'm looking to add to my small, spoiled mixed flock of pets. I'm searching for 2 silkies and1 BLRW (Wyandotte could be silver or gold).

Hi welcome-byc.gif

Glad you could join the flock! You might like to pop by your state thread, members in your area might be able to point you in the right direction. State threads can be found here ~ http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you
There is also the buy sell trade section ~ http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/67/buy-sell-trade
Once you have a lost count of 20 you could also post a wanted ad.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Welcome to Backyard chickens.   Silkies are extremely difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age and sometimes not till they crow or lay.   I mention this because buying younger birds may not mature to the gender you are seeking.

Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-
