Need Chicken Coop Plans - brand new here

We are brand new to raising chickens and plan on getting our chicks soon. I've looked all over for detailed plans with measurements to build a coop with attached run for about 4 chickens. I can't find anything! Just vague instructions and I am not capable of going by that. Thanks!

If you look at the tabs at the top of the page, you'll find a tab that says 'Coops'. There you'll find hundreds of coops people have built and many entries have schematics, bill of materials, etc..

*2. I personally like sheds as coops - just my preference for what its worth.

A garden shed type building works best, and is easiest to find/ build/ modify into a nice coop. At least four to five sq. ft. per bird on the floor, and an attached run. Prefab dog house type coops are good for small rabbits, not chickens. Welcome ! Mary
