Story time!!
My female waffles has had an eventful week. She laid her first egg after much confused sqwaking. The next night, after dinner and before bed the poor girl fell in the window well. Don't know how, there's a cover on it
she and her mate were frantic. I wasn't home so my sister saved her. It was so much for her, she laid another egg!!
Last night, I went out to put them to bed and her mate was pacing the fence. My house borders a creek, and somehow she had gotten to the other side of the fence and was panicking trying to fit through the little holes to get back to him. I rescued the curious little Duckie yet again, and they quacked happily to bed.
Curiosity supposedly kills cats, but little Waffles is pushing her luck with all these lessons
