Cute little dog. So lucky that she has taken to guarding the birds.Pleased to help.. and looks happy about her job.
Despite her small size I have found her invaluable in keeping away predators.
Before she took up the role (on her own volition)... I lost some chicken to mongoose, then chicks to a cat and birds of prey, and even had a rat harassing the birds.
She keeps them all away now.. and is 100 percent trustworthy with the chickens and fancy pigeons... but she does like to steal their feed.... and the occasional egg (if the hens lay one outside the coop).
She even has a special bark when she spots a snake!
