We just got a duck and it's not sleeping in the coop with the chickens we have . I was told by the previous owner they were never able to get her to sleep in a coop. Can you all show me your ducks coop? We are extending their area and I want to build her something new that is hers.
 
I had trouble getting my ducks to go in the coop at first too. You might want to bribe her with peas or something she likes. If that doesn't work you may need to get someone assist you to try and herd her into the coop. Put your arms out straight or get a stick and point towards the coop and walk her slowly into it. This really does work and after the second night she will probably go inside on her own.
 
Is she an only duck? That could be part of the problem. They need companionship and chickens aren't going to cut it. Also can you lock her in the coop? Most ducks rather stay out at night. I think I have some pics of my coop in my profile if you take a look.
