I think my Goose has Bumblefoot?

Okay, I'll do that then. Does Morton Iodized Sea Salt work? It says it has iodine in it. Wood chips aren't bad for his feet are they? And is it okay to take him on walks over normal lawn grass? He would get really sad if he was left out I think, but I'll do what's best for him.
Are the wood chips like the kind you buy for animal bedding? that is what I use.

Soaking in sea salt would be okay too if that is all you have not sure if it will work the way Epsom salt and clear iodine will though but give it a try if that is all you have. Sure take him for walks, just once you get the scabs off you keep his feet as clean as possible even if you wrap. once the scabs come off keep up with the soaks and put some kind of antibiotic ointment in the hole where the kernel was.You can use a sterile pair of tweezers to get out the bumble or it may not even have anything but a hole I have seen both.

Yes, the brand is Marth and I get them from fleet farm. My parents are going to walmart today, does walmart have epsom salt and iodine? Does his foot have to be wrapped when the scabs come off, or could I just keep him on fresh wood chips? Would Chlorehexedine 2% work as a good antibiotic, or coconut oil, or honey?

washing his bumbles in the Chlorehexedrine is that for cleaning out wounds I have it here but have only used it that way. would be a good idea and maybe do that every other day along with soaking in Epsom salt water the day you don't use it. Yes Walmart has both products. Tell them to ask for the clear iodine if they don't have it on the shelf. once you get the kernel out if there is one and you use any kind of ointment whether honey or antibiotic you should probably wrap I do mine, that way nothing sticks to the stuff your using and it keeps the foot clean while it's healing. I'd change the bandage at least every other day They can get nasty quick. I use those non stick pads and vet wrap when wrapping.

So I can put the Chlorhexedine on his foot before the scab comes off right? Tell me please if this plan is good for today before we get the iodine and epsom salt.

Rinse his feet in cold water, then apply chlorhexedine on the scab area, then put him on fresh bedding. Or should I soak him in warm water with table salt before I apply chlorhexedine?

I'd just wash his feet real good in the chlorexedine to make sure they are good and clean of poop dirt etc. then put him on clean bedding, tomorrow start the soaks in Epsom salt and clear iodine put on the bumbles I use a qtip for the iodine. Once the scabs come off easily wash again in the chlor. then apply the anitibiotic ointment and wrap

Okay thank you so much! So put some Chlorhexedine in water then wash the feet?
