I have a Khaki Campbell, 1-2 yrs old that I just acquired. She was acting egg bound so I soaked her fanny in warm water, lubed her up in the vent with vaseline. I could feel the egg at that time. It felt soft. I did not manipulate it or try to work it out. I put her in a bunny cage with water and food and warmth with a towel over her. It's been 11 hours and no egg. I lubed her again, but I could no longer feel the egg. there was not residue from the egg on my finger either. Could she have reabsorbed it that quickly or is there another concern I should have? She is eating, drinking and sitting normally at this time. Thanks!
