How much are these peafowl worth?

How much would my 3 yr old india blue cock be worth sold along with my 1 yr old india blue hen? (sold as pair)
Also how many eggs does a peahen lay?
And how much is a peachick worth?

It depends on where you live and the availability. A bird that someone has cared for three years has a lot of feed and effort in it. I wouldn't sell a three year old for less than $150 although you will see some sell for half of that sometimes. Hens depend on the time of year, right now they should bring more than a cock. I have some IB hens I am selling right now for $125, they should be at least $175, I just want the pen space for another color. Chicks are all over the place for anywhere from $10 to $60 depending on color. I sell my yearling IB's for $125 a pair, $50 for cocks and $75 for hens.

Mostly the peahen lays her first egg at 2 years old !

KsKingBee, thanks for that info, where I am peafowl are pretty rare. I was first of all very lucky to get peafowl here is SD and second of all, they were given to me for free! Anyway, I was thinking at least $200 for the pair? Is that asking too much? Because the lady that gave them to me said that the male and the female both had 1 more year to start breeding.

Two-year-old peafowl are capable of breeding, but not reliably. The hen would likely lay a clutch and the cock might get er done, sometimes...
At three years old they will breed more reliably and go into full swing at four years. I am assuming that your birds are 2015 hatch and will breed next year, that makes them worth about $125 in my area. If they are two years old this year they would be worth the $200 to me.

I agree with Kingbee, 2yr old males are capable but usually lack the mechanics or balance if you will, at 3 yrs old the fertility rate will rise and at 4 yrs plus there will be no excuses. Hens should lay at 2yrs old but dont expect more than 1 clutch. Kingbees prices are consistent with central Texas peafowl prices as well.

I dont have these peafowl yet, there is a lady that wants to GIVE them to me. My dad says peafowl are useless and have no use. So hes not very convinced. How can I talk to him about these peafowl and all good things so he can think about getting them. I told him that we can try them out and if we dont like them we can sell them to good owners. But Im afraid the lady wouldnt like it if she gave them to me only for me to sell them.

When selling peafowl it depends on your market and who it is. For example, probably close to you, in Idaho adult IBs 3 years or older will usually go anywhere from $35-$75 to someone who's no in the peafowl world. They are not useless. My IB peacock make me almost $200 each year. I could make more if I could sell more feathers before he molts. My hen would've made me $160 if I could have sold all of my chicks for the price I was asking for. My Whites will probably double it. Also if my peafowl hear an unfamiliar vehicle they do a couple calls. My 2 year old hen would usually lay only 9 eggs while my 3 year old hen I got 13 eggs from her. I'm sure I could've gotten more but I wanted her to have some chicks of her own.
