Hello everyone! I am pretty new to chickens and am in the process of starting my own flock. I currently have 6 Amberlink Pullets compliments of Tractor Supply. In a few hours I will be getting some day old Silkie chicks (words can not describe how excited I am about these Silkies
) and possibly a few White Crested Black Polish chicks. Any suggestions of how many Silkie chicks I should get? I know I want at least 4 (one of each color Southern States has available today) but was kind of thinking of getting more since I have been patiently waiting for today for MONTHS (perhaps even a few years lol). And any thoughts/opinions on the Polish? No one around me really has them so I am a little clueless aside from what I have read online. I am also planning on ordering some chicks from Stromberg's this week and was wondering if anyone has ever ordered anything from them and if so how your experience was? Thanks in advance for your help!
