I just got my peacock a month ago and 2 days ago he started sitting a lot and today fell sideways when trying to walk. Not eating ether but drinking some. Can't see what poop looks like but got some corid tonight. He is 6 months old don't really know what to do, I'm new at this. Don't think he has ever been wormed. What should I do first.
Welcome to BYC! You need to act quickly or there is a very good chance he will die. Can you bring him inside where it's warm?
@Lyndi , read this:

If he isn't drinking enough, which he probably isn't, you will need to fluids to him, then fluids and food, but he must be nice and warm before you do this. I am available by phone tomorrow. Will send my number in a PM (personal message).
He did die that evening and I convinced his owner to weigh him and do a necropsy. Body weight was only 1200 grams. Normal weight for a male this age is 2400-3200 grams.

Here are the necropsy pictures:

This shows how thin he was

So the thread about dredging up old threads led me to find this, which I had totally forgotten about. Later today I will update post #1 with a treatment that could have been tried.
