So, we have so many beautiful chicks that I am having a hard time sexing and identifying. Yesterday they had their first outing to the yard. They are no longer under heat lamps and are waiting for my wonderful slow poke to finish my coop that he has been working on for the past 8 weeks.

Here are the ones I think I know....

Amerucana or Andalusian? Female?

Welsummer? Male?

From left to right, Ancona, Cochin of some kind, and Amerucana or Andalusian. The cochin is a male I believe. The other two I have no idea.

This slippery baby I believe is a Speckled Sussex, sex is unknown.

The I have no idea group

I am not sure what this sweetie is, but it is beautiful

She is a quickie, I don't even know if she is a she

Very sweet girl.... I am assuming she is a girl

This one looks like a road runner when it is standing.

I am not even sure.....

I am not sure what or if it is boy or girl

Not sure, but between two leghorns

Again, not sure.

Thanks for all of your help!

There area lot! I love it though. They are so sweet. I got them from Murray McMurray, it is random from their egg layer collection.

The eighth picture is a chicken that I think is either a Silver Spangled Hamburgh or some sort of Silver Laced Wyandotte.

Was is supposed to be a pullet assortment or a straight run?

MMM doesn't have Ameraucana, so that rules that out for the blue birds. Andalusian is the most likely suspect. You'll know for sure as they mature, they'll get white earlobes.

Second bird is definitely male. Can't see well enough if it's a Welsummer or partridge Rock, but it's something similar colored.
The bird in the middle is probably a light Brahma. The color doesn't fit any Cochin from MMM. I can't see the comb well, but if it's a pea, it's a Brahma. And probably male, with that much color at this age.
Speckled Sussex. Not a ton of comb, but with that much white on the chest I wouldn't rule out male just yet.
Probably a partridge Rock cockerel.

I can't see the comb on your quick little black and white bird, but I'm thinking silver spangled Hamburg
Not sure on the next bird, it kind of reminds me of a Dark Cornish, but it's not quite right.....
your road runner might be a silver Leghorn
another partridge Rock, probably cockerel
