Can you put partly incubated eggs under a broody hen?

I've got 20 eggs in my incubator that are 6 days old. One of my hens is now broody. She has hatched out eggs in the past and been a great mother. I want to transfer some of the eggs from the incubator to her. Has anyone done this? Any risks that eggs hatching a few days early will surprise her? She has been sitting on fake eggs for a couple of days, so hopefully that helps.

It's my first time incubating, so I'm hoping all the eggs are doing well in the incubator. My plan was to candle the eggs tonight to confirm that they are developing and they slip her a few.

Thoughts? Tips?

That's what I've decided to do myself. Being only a week into incubation you'll be perfectly fine. I was going to try and slip eggs that are due to hatch this weekend but haven't gotten a consensus yet if that's too soon into brood to try. Opting for eggs that I really covet that have only been incubating for three days now. A few birds started brooding the same day. Go figure. Drove two states away to get the eggs on Sunday, set Monday morning and discovered broody hens that night.
