You usually manage to get it all baled w/o it getting rained on? Seems like around here if we need rain the farmers just lay a field of hay down; almost guaranteed to rain before they get it up.All the cats here stay outside . I'm always afraid I'll cut them up with the hay mower . But thy are all here tonight I didn't kill any today . Good thing cause my daughter would kill me . Guess I'm going to turn in got a lot more hay needs cutting tomorrow

Thanks. As you remember from my grousing, there has been almost nonstop rain for 2 months now. Sure was nice to have a dry funeral!!! We did have to pump the water out of the gravesite before the service. Sheesh...
Thanks. It was a gorgeous day. As deaths go, it was pretty good. He had been given a terminal diagnosis 3 years back (given 6 months to live), but he lived pretty well until the last month. Then his decline was steady and predictable. So his kids and grandkids had time to make make it all of the way here from the East Coast. It was good.
Sorry about the loss of your friend, Al.Just got Roo back from the vet. His eye is healing.He's still got a long way to go before he can get the dreaded cone of shame off, but at least he's heading in the right direction. They dont think it blinded him. Will go back in a week to see what happens next.

i caught the biggest fish. 13-1/4"! But it was the only one i caught all day. He caught a few smaller ones, and a pretty striped bass.

So sorry Shaw...Well I shipped daughter off to Kentucky with the clampetts. . morons couldn't figure out how to pack the uhaul. They got most of it in but any reasonable thinking person could have packed it no problem.
They aren't bad people necessarily just very uncouth. Not people I would choose to be in my life. I just can't help feeling like she has chosen a whole new family over the family that has loved and raised her.
I hope she is happy.
