Totally new to Seramas, and I have come across a question regarding showing.

So, one of mine is a "normal" Serama, it has the standard feathers. I have another that I was told was a "Silkie Serama", a Serama with Silkie feathers.

Now, when they say Silkie Serama, do they mean just simply a cross breed of a Silkie and a Serama, for backyard and hobbyist pets, or is it now an accepted variety of Serama (as in showable)?

Thanks everyone!

It could be either one, I would like some pics please! There is a variety of serama called Silkied, I have a silkied hen,

This is what they look like all grown up! If you got the silkied from the same person as the Strait feathered it is likely that it is purebred

Haha, i got a pic {^~^} You can barely tell that the Silkie (or Silked?) one is a so unless you look close. Must be the age, i knew my Naked Neck silies looked the same at their age (or, at least, what i expect their age to be)

Here ya go! Yes, the lady at the farm store told me they came from a Serama breeder, so that could be it {^~^} Thanks for your help!

That appears to be a purebred, I would guess they are about 4-5 weeks old, Good Luck!
