Hello. This is my first time incubating eggs. Chicken eggs. I bought fertilized eggs from a local farmer who claimed all the eggs were collected within 48 hours. About an hour after I put the eggs in the incubator, I swear one of the eggs started rocking while I was checking the temp. At first I thought I caused the movement, but the incubator is on a stable table, I was the only one in the room and no other eggs moved. Should I be expecting a chick in a few days?

Candle it see what the aircell looks like.

If it's veined or a dark mass in it was incubated before you got it.

I would guess floor vibration or a small bump of the table moved it.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, right after I posted it, I realized I can check by candling. Not sure how to remove this post now. But thanks, again.
