Is this 11 week old Black Australorp a rooster or hen?

That appears to be a young cockerel. Though the body is henny shaped. Are you sure it is only 11 weeks?

From the time we bought our 6 chicks from rural king at the end of February its about 11 going on 12 weeks. Does it look older? This one always seemed bigger and developed faster than the rest.
If it was older, 18-20 weeks, it would look very much like a pullet. But if it is really 11-12 weeks, it is a cockerel.

Oh. Ok. Im new to all this and I keep trying to look up pictures at different stages. Im back and forth. Lol I hears it making, what sounded like a crowing noise this morning for the first time. Im not surprised if its a boy. We just have to figure out who to give him too because we cant have roosters here.:-(
I have Black Australorp hens and the legs on yours look way too sturdy/thick to be a hen. Just IMO.

Yes! This ones legs are really thick compared to my others. We have 3 white brahmas and 3 black australorps. This one surely does stand out.
