So, I candled some eggs tonight at day 8. And since I've never done this before, I'm clueless. I have 8 eggs under a hen. Two are green and I cannot see anything in them at all (completely blocks the light). Of the rest, I definitely saw the veins in 2. Here are the other four, I am clueless.... I did smell each one and they all smelled quite fine. Is it just too early? Are they alive? Thank you for helping me
Egg number one. It has darker pigment on the top, but I thought I saw a darkish area in the middle.
Egg number two. No idea?
Egg number 3
Egg number four - I tried not to move them much, but couldn't help noticing that the dark part in this one seemed a bit orange, and moved around with any tilt of the egg. Unfertilized?
