I guess this is my obligatory intro thread. My name is Joel, and I live in Oswego County, New York. I have five ducklings: three khaki campbells, one Indian Runner duck, and one crested runner duck (Bali?). They are about six weeks old, and I have them alternating between a fenced run and the garage, as it is still nippy at nights. I just wanted to create this thread to introduce myself to the other members of this site, and I would love to hear your stories as well as tips for first-time duck owners.
 
Welcome to BYC, we are glad you finally joined,I myself have 2 cayugas, and 30 some chickens, and a turkey.you wanted advice, if you want a little fun roll some peas in front of your ducklings mine love to go skittering after peas.

Hi, I have a white Crested Duck. She turned 2 in March. Strangely enough she turned out to b my best friend.

Are White Cresteds derived from Pekins? I had a Pekin and two Rouens in middle school. Both are significantly larger than the breeds I currently own. I guess when I say that I'm a first time duck owner, I should actually say first time solo duck owner.

Sorry been offline for a few days .. I'm not sure..she's smaller than pekins and has a crest on her head..
