BYC Forum Cleanup - Preparation for Spring 2009! Post Counts May Drop

Ummm...I'm just wondering why a high post count is important to some people.

Please get this back on the topic and quit the little slaps folks.

Random titles come and go on the forum. Post counts in the end really mean nothing, as you will find after being around for a while, it is the knowledge of the individual that keeps BYC members popular figures to ask questions of when all is said and done.

If a person feels the need to drive their post count up for appearances it means little and obvious to everyone else what they are doing.

Ummm (again) doesn't this just mean if a person has a high post count that they simply just talk/type alot but that doesn't necessarily mean they know alot?

Besides nobody has to be an expert to blab on forums since we all qualify by being "experts in our field", er, backyard.

But if anybody is losing sleep over your count being lowered just watch the evening news and you'll get over it real fast.

Thank you to all of the Mods for making (and keeping) this forum a great place. I do have a question though. I really enjoyed the Grandpa whats for supper thread. I know it has been locked. Are we allowed to start up another one? Or is this type of thread discouraged because of the space it takes up? ( There may already be one and I just have not ran across it yet. ) I found it helpful with all of the recipes, tips and ideas.
