Rooster only likes certain people

Hello I'm new with chickens, I have this gorgeous stray buff orpington rooster (Franklin ) show up in my yard easter week and I've totally fell in love with him and we built him a nice coop and run I've spoiled him and got him a few hens :) well the thing is he used to love my husband but now he hates him and attacks him viciously, spurs him and doesn't back down! This rooster is huge by the way. Why the sudden change in behavior? He doesn't like my mom either. HE ONLY LIKES ME!
 
Wow! Beautiful rooster! And to answer you question, he's behaving like a common rooster. He's matured more and the hens probably brought out his male hormones. This is completely normal behavior for a mature rooster. I had a Buff Orphington rooster when I was a child that adored me but was mean to everyone else. You can research different methods for removing or trimming his spurs though some people believe it's inhumane. Good luck!
