I have not seen nor heard anything about it, but the wife went to the grocery the other day. For your basic whole chicken they wanted $12.
It might just be time to increase the flock and get some of those fast growing meat birds.
I've seen whole chickens for $20. And that was months ago. So perhaps that means chickens are making a comeback? Perhaps they don't like being on an endangered list. Perhaps they don't like being dinner. Perhaps they think they're worth more.
