Eat chicken under antibiotics?

My first chicken turned out to be a broiler amd I wanted to keep it as a pet. I gave her antibiotics since she had watery green poop everywhere, but her poop is fine now after the meds. Even though her poop looks better, her legs are getting weak and she is always tired after eating I dont think she is happy. I was thinking of killing her in a painless then eating her. Would it bebsafe to eat her meat?
 
I don't know anything about the antibiotic question, sorry, someone else probably will though. However broilers very rarely make successful pets, they get so big so fast that their legs and hearts give out and they die. Butchering really is the only humane thing to do. Personally I can't imagine why the antibiotics would be an issue, but again, I don't know for sure.

Any drug that you give your chicken has a withdrawal period.
There are drugs that you cant eat your chicken st all!
So you need to check what is your withdrawal period.

Alright. Thank you for the feedback. I gave my chicken amoxicilin. I gotta research on the withdrawal period.

Yeah. I heard. It is too bad my chicken appears to be suffering. I am trying my best to give it exercise by letting her run so her legs will get stronger and maybe her heart too.
 
exercise won't make a difference sadly. if you really really ration food they can last a little longer, but they will eventually die. They just aren't bred for that, so genetically they won't survive. I've heard of some making it to 9 months old when the food is very closely rationed, but even then, you are just slowing growth and starving them.

you'll want to check the half life of what you gave the chicken, like the other poster said. but your choices are butcher, or let the chicken die. that's just what broilers do. I'm sorry.

Mmm..
That kind of sucks for me since I kinda grew attached to my chicken. I guess I will have to butcher my chicken next week.
