Is my Gold Sexlink supposed to look like this??

Hi everyone! A question for you. I have been noticing that my sex link looks very different in the chest area than my other two hens. She is eating and drinking normally, and is as feisty as ever. Is this normal, or should I have her checked? Thank you in advance for your help!

It looks like a full crop to me. Their crop is where they store food after they eat, it sets there and starts the digestion process. Usually sets to the right side of the chest.

You might check her first thing in the morning, their crop is usually empty then. See if she looks different then.

Thank you! Her crop still looked pretty big this morning so I will have to look into it. She is acting just fine, but I am worried things may be backing up in there.
