Let me start by introducing myself :) This is my first post and Im so thrilled to finally be a part of this group :) I own and opperate a wildlife refuge and we get in an array of wildlife where we rescue, rehabilitate and release. I also have rescue chickens that live the remaining of their lives with us on our farm, aswell as my other beautiful chickens. Now I have a question that hopefully I'll be able to figure out. I had a rescue peahen egg brought into me after the mothers nest was destroyed aswell as eggs except this one egg. She did not sit back on it. So I have it with me now and put it straight into my incubator. My problem is now that I have no idea how ld the egg is. I have candled and the egg is fertile. I will need to know when to put in lockdown? My incubator isnt automatic so I have to tun them myself.

so this aircell chart should be accurate, 24th should be lockdown so last day checked

Thank you so much for putting your time aside to help :) It looks as though the chick is between 15 to 20 days. So will have to narrow it down. If I wait until I start to hear chirping in the incubator and then stop turning will that effect the chick? Would hate to stop turning too early or too late
