Pheasant scabs

Hi I just got a bunch of ring-necks from a friend and noticed that some of them had some scabs on their heads from trying to get out of the pen. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Pretty normal. But keep a close look on them it could be other things. They should heal up after a couple of weeks. Note how long they keep the scabs just in case.
