HELP! Chick is bleeding!

I tried to help. But she started bleeding. Will she be ok? I feel horrible!

Wow...she is not ready to come out. What day is she on? Why are you helping- just curious.

Leaving her is the best thing you can do right about now. Judging by that amount of blood she hasn't absorbed that yolk sack either. Did she pip by herself?

ETA: I zoomed in the pic, i cant see her beak, is she mal-positioned?

She is not ready to hatch. You need to stop the bleeding or she could bleed out. Use some paper towel to put gentle pressure on the bleeding area to try to stop it.

I too am wondering why you made the decision to help. Was she externally pipped for more than 24 hours with no further progress?

She pipped on her own and our other chick that was hatching had the wet version of sticky chick and she had been pipped for a long time. What is mal-positioned?

Malpositioned is when the chick is not oriented correctly for hatching. However after looking closely at your picture I can see her beak under her wing in the right position so that's not something that's happening here.

In the future, don't try to help a chick unless you know for sure there's a problem or they made an external pip and haven't progressed at all after 24 hours. Once they externally pip they can breathe and they are fine to sit and wait for help, they won't die.

@Pyxis bet me to explaining mal-positioned chicks, Pyxis is right, i can now see the beak so dont worry about mal-positioning. Try and do what Pyxis said with the warm cloth and just leave it for a but...you can only hope for the best now.

Whats the Humidity at?

It stopped by itself. She didn't bleed much. It stopped quickly
