The little one is doing is great thank you :) Got a nice scab on its navel which I'm not interfering with and it's eating and drinking great. Still small compared to the others but doing ok with them. I took them back to the farm today, going to miss them but not their mess! They have been out on the grass for a bit the last 2 days, even playing chase me chase me, so cute!
Yes I did the turning and cooling of them as in the guide but the shell was still rock hard for them.

You may not need 11 more birds but it sounds like your gang have other ideas  Hope you don't get too over run with them!

I saw the first 2 goslings I hatched out at the farm today, they hatched April 25th and goodness they are massive! Not a great pic I'm afraid ~

They are cute! So glad they're doing well.

I'm starting to think that my geese may have decided to abandon their nest. There has just been too much interference with them. The first poor girl to go broody, made her nest in my goat's hutch. My livestock guardian dog kept stealing her eggs! Finally she moved her nest to a safer location and the whole flock has been guarding it. Then my evil little pony got in the nest one day and broke a few eggs recently. I put up a piece of plywood to protect the nest, that seemed to remedy the situation. However, we've been doing a lot of work to the barn the last two days with a huge noisy rented boom lift, and I think we disturbed the geese more than they could take. No one has been on the nest at all today. :( It's sad, but I'm kind of relieved that I won't be over-run with geese!

What breed are the two big geese you hatched out first? They are massive!
