Today is the day I lock down my turkey eggs, it has been a long 25 days and I still have three more to go to complete the 28 days required for turkey eggs. I have 7 Narragansett turkey eggs in my incubator and hoping for at least 5 to hatch would be great if all hatched. The best I have had with chicken eggs was 83% the worst I had with chicken eggs was 64%. This is a first for me on turkey eggs. I followed Porters Heritage Turkey Hatching Egg tips http://www.porterturkeys.com/egghatchingtips.htm there were so many different suggestions on humidity I wasn't sure what way to go so I decided Porters was as good as any and went with those tips.

Hello chicken lovers I have a problem/question my heritage turkey was brooding eggs when Ga got a terrible storm with a cold front this poor mom sat in the cold cold rain for two days soaked to skin with no over head coverage, when she got up she was shivering and went for cover . I watched for 20 minutes and she wasn't going back so I took her eggs to my incubator and put some chicken eggs down. My question is after it quit raining she went back to sit her eggs so when she gets up to eat can I give her eggs back ? Right now they look good
