Good thing my sis lives in New England!!!

LOL I didnt want them because I wasn't ready to take on this role just yet. But in the long run it was best for me. Now i cant take my eyes off them. So right now I have 10 chickens 3 turkeys and a Pekin duck. Not as many as I had before.

I live in beaufort s.c on the coast, I have a lot of mixed baby chicks for sale. Please let me know if any one is interested they must go soon.

To all the chicken lovers that have posted since I was here last . . . ..

Maybe someone on here knows of a place to rent where I can keep 2 horses, 2 dogs and (who knows how many) chickens. I am living in a neighborhood of nasty neighbors. The vandalism is driving me nuts. I have been to court 3 times with neighbors that will not keep their dogs home.

I would like to find 5 or so acres, with a house, some sort of outbuilding for the chickens and pasture for my horses. I will put up my own fence. Somewhere near Greenwood/Laurens would be nice.

Please PM me. I will answer the next time I am at my friend's house. My computer is down right now.....

Oh, yea, and I also have colored layers of all ages for sale. Both hens and roosters !

hello everyone
just sold 20 light brama chicks ,18 dark brama chicks, and 9 bourbon red turkey poults thursday.ihave 27 more light bramas waiting to be picked up next week. just finish putting 12 speckled sussex eggs,40 blue lace red wyandotte,8 black rose comb bantam eggs in bator i already have 70 jumbo ringneck and 20 yellow gold pheasant,60 blue laced red wyandotte in bator already. so the bator is about full now. so this has been a good week

Enola, sorry to hear about your neighbors. I know that is extremely frustrating! I would think you would be able to find a decent place in that area. There is so much beautiful land around there.

Have you all seen the gold laced Brahmas on the egg auction here? They are gorgeous! I am in love with the buff Brahmas though I can't seem to keep any here on the farm. Every time I get some they sell out quick and I don't even want to sell but can't pass up the offers. Even my layers are sold.
The Gold laced though are out of this world. However, that is a color I really love in most things. Golds, creams, yellows with white are so pretty that most of my flowers around my farm are that color or mixed in groups like that.

I am trying to slow down on hatching. Getting 60-80 chicks a week out of the bator and keeping all the brooders clean is wearing me out. As soon as I sell a good many I have another batch to take it's place. And now a lot of them are my project birds and I can't sell those because I need to make sure I am improving on everything I am breeding. I wanted to build more pens but then when would I have time to care and evaluate them? LOL I'm too busy scrubbing water containers and making sure everyone has food and clean facilities.
AND I am in the middle of building my duck coop.
