I have four pekin ducks and they LOVE watermelon but i'm trying to find some new treats to give them. online, i saw a website for treats you can give chickens and among them was oatmeal and yogurt. i was wondering if ducks could have the same things. thanks! big_smile

Why not bread or crackers? I am forever throwing out the ends to the ducks. I also throw out stale cereal.

My ducks love them some grapes!

Mine go nuts over peas!

What about Kale? I thought that was on another post that had a list of things they can have. So I found a huge bag for a decent price and got it for them. They are really enjoying it. Is Kale a good thing or not?

It's pretty empty nutritionally

7 quacking ducks, 5 spazzy quail, 3 lazy cats, 2 grown sons, 1 goofy husband... and no partridge, but I have a pear tree!

What is wrong with "seeds of any kind". Can bird seed harm them if they get into it?

We are debating this right now on another thread.

I had mallards that LOVED snails - kids in the neighborhood would collect them and come by just to watch the ducks chow down!

I'm not a complete idiot - some parts are missing!
