Try Meyer Hatchery. I personally prefer to order from Ideal when I need to.

Disclaimer - Cheaper is not always better.

I'm expecting my first order from Meyer.  I sure liked the service I got over the phone when I ordered.  They worked hard to get me what I wanted.  Prices are good.

Try Mt. Healthy also.  I really like their chicks.

Home to French copper and cuckoo marans.  Various polish, GLW's, EE's, turkens, silkies, black australorps, RIR, barred rocks,  touluse geese. many pets.  overrun by critters.....  I don't think that surprises many BYC'rs...

The best deal is usually someone local.  Try finding a BYCer or a local hatchery.
I have worked with Meyer & Welp - both good.  I have been happiest with small family owned farms...

I am just geekie that way!

I would recommend Ideal. We have ordered from Ideal, McMurray, and Cackle Hatchery. I was very displeased with Cackle Hatchery, but the other 2 were great. Ideal is a bit less expensive than McMurray if I remember correctly. When you decide which kind you would like to order, it wouldn't hurt to shop around for prices on that particular type.
